Fried chicken, homemade mashed potatoes and country gravy, green beans, corn, bread and desserts were served at the Annual Chicken Dinner held at the Jamestown Assembly of God Saturday, March 19. Justin Nichols, pastor at Jamestown Assembly of God, said parishioners arrived at the church at noon to donate the food and volunteer their time. The team began cooking at 2:30 p.m. before serving at 5 p.m. Despite the rainy weather, many came out and supported the church.
