The California High School baseball teams wrapped up the 2011 seasaon at the annual CHS Baseball Reception May 23 at the high school commons. It was a time to recognize each of the players for their individual contributions to the season, as well as to present special awards.
Coach Dwight Fitzwater spoke about each player on the JV and varsity team and reflected on each team's season. "Our JV team had a pretty decent season, despite several rain-outs. I'm real proud of this group. They have a lot of talent, so our JV program has a good future."
The JV Pintos finished the season 4-4.
