The California Pintos opened the 2011-12 basketball season with a 55-42 win against St. Elizabeth Tuesday, Nov. 29, in first-round action at the Eugene Invitational.
Top-seeded California will play fourth-seeded Eugene in the semifinal round of the tourney at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
