The regular monthly meeting of the Tipton R-VI School Board was held Monday, Oct. 10, at the Board of Education Office.
Band Director Sherry Nichols and student Kaitlyn Hirst highlighted the results of recent competitions, after which Nichols informed the board of performances scheduled through the end of the semester including a final competition the band will attend in Springfield on Nov. 5.
Under the consent agenda items approved included bus routes for the 2011-12 year were approved and solicitation of bids for snow removal.
