James E. Haldiman, 55, Fortuna, died April 14, 2012, at Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City.
He was born Oct. 15, 1956, in Kansas City, Mo., son of Lester and Gwendolyn Haldiman.
Survivors include: his son, Seth Haldiman; his mother, Gwendolyn Cox; his girlfriend, Terry Williams; his brother, Darrel Haldiman; and his sister, Barbara Joyce Baldwin, Birmingham, Ala. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., April 19, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Memorial may be made to the American Heart Association.
William R. "Bill" Hunt, 76, St. Joseph, Missouri, died Thursday, April 12, 2012.
He was born May 14, 1935 to Ray and Opal J. (Hill) Hunt in Franklin, Missouri.
He married Sue Amos August 11, 1969.
Mr. Hunt served in the United States Army stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas and in Germany. He was a St. Joseph Police Officer, worked at Krause Milling, and Missouri Pacific Railroad.
He was a member of Gower Good Timers, Old Time Pickers, and Kansas Country Music Hall of Fame.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Paul Hunt.
Survivors include: his wife; daughters, Lori Atkins (Rick), Rosendale, Missouri, and Carrie Campbell (Tim), St. Joseph; sons, Kenneth Nold, St. Joseph, Sheldon Nold, Ft. Hood, Texas, and Dustin Hunt, St. Joseph; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry Hunt (Carol), DeKalb, Missouri, and J.R. Hunt, Downs, Kansas; sister, Mary Lou Kinart (Keith); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lucille M.Seifert Smith, 97, of Wooldridge, passed away at Boone Hospital Center on Wednesday, April, 11, 2012.
Lucille Marie Smith was born in Cooper County on Aug. 29, 1914 the daughter of Herman Seifert and Emma Hickerman Seifert. She married Clovis Smith on Dec. 29, 1937 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Pleasant Grove.
She served her church all of her life – Sunday school teacher, organist for over 60 years, church treasurer for many years, well as a member of the Ladies Aid and other duties relevant to the church’s operation. Lucille enjoyed gardening, quilting, canning and sharing the bounty with her church and neighbors. She had worked in the area all of her life, including A.S.C.S. office and Cooper County Hospital.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, by three sisters, Gertrude, Julia and Loretta, a brother, Otho and by one son, Bobby Earl Smith and grandchildren, Kevin Smith and Tim Cowen. She is survived by her son, Kenneth and his wife Elaine of Wooldridge; her daughter-in-law, Connie Smith; her sister, Emma Lou (Seifert) Stover of Boonville; brother, Lloyd Seifert and wife, Bonnie of Ft. Scott, Kan.; her sister-in-law, Bonnie Joyce Seifert of Wooldridge; as well as four grandchildren, Hope, Bryan, Barry and Sandy; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Pleasant Grove Immanuel Lutheran Church, with Rev. Luther Herman officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Pleasant Grove.
