The California Pintos faced Eldon in first-round action at California's 78th Annual Basketball Tournament Tuesday night, where they defeated the Mustangs 51-44.
The Pintos, seeded sixth, will play #2 seed Helias at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in semifinals. The championship game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday.
