Capital projects technology funding for Tipton R-VI

Scott Jarvis, Tipton R-VI Superintendent, plans for capital projects funding for instructional technology.

At the regular monthly meeting, Jarvis informed the school board of his intent to budget $120,000 for purchase of new instructional technology equipment. The announcement came during an update on the financial reports. He also gave an update on the transportation department, mentioning retirement of Kay Hofstetter, a long time substitute bus driver. He also informed the board of the retirement of Pam Bishop, elementary secretary. Joanie Kuttenkuler will be moving to the elementary secretary position and the opening of the position of the superintendent's secretary.
