Cole County
• U.S. 54 between Old Bass Road and Route CC - Improvements at 12 intersections along 8.5 miles of U.S. 54 to improve safety and traffic flow.
- Crews are working off the roadway at Buffalo Road and installing lighting in various locations. Work to install lighting will take place on the shoulder of the roadway. The entire corridor is scheduled for completion in the fall.
• Missouri 179 between Route C and Edgewood Drive - Grading, drainage and bridge paving for a new interchange. Periodic lane closures may occur, and motorists are advised to use caution through the area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in the summer.
Boone County
• U.S. 63 from just north of Missouri 163 to Route H - Construction of a new diamond interchange and southbound lanes. Motorists should expect periodic lane closures.
The Route AB crossover north of the overpass construction is closed to allow the contractor to construct the two new southbound lanes of 63. Motorists will need to use the next available crossover or overpass to the north and south to access the northbound lanes of 63. During this construction period, the speed limits for both the northbound and southbound lanes of 63 will be reduced to 60 mph during working hours.
Route H is temporarily closed at 63. Traffic is being detoured to Hardwick Lane, located near the 63 roadside park. Route H will remain closed at 63 until the new interchange opens to traffic.
The contractor continues with bridge construction at Turkey Creek and at Route H.
Motorists should be prepared for periodic reductions in speed limits through the work area.
The entire project is scheduled for completion in late this year.
Callaway County
• Route PP bridge over Middle Creek west of County Road 470 - Bridge replacement is under way. The bridge is closed to traffic through late May. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route around the construction. This project is part of the Safe & Sound Bridge Improvement Program.
• Interstate 70 between Route A and the Montgomery County line - Roadway maintenance in the eastbound lanes will take place Tuesday through Thursday. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.
• U.S. 54 in Kingdom City - Roadway maintenance in the westbound lanes will take place Sunday through Tuesday. One westbound lane will be open through the work area.
• Route D between I-70 and Route AB - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday through Thursday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Camden County
• U.S. 54 at the Missouri 5 Interchange in Camdenton - Sidewalk construction and ramp widening is under way.
Traffic has been shifted to accommodate the installation of temporary barrier curbs in preparation for sidewalk construction across the U.S. 54 overpass bridge.
Motorists should expect lane closures and the narrowing of U.S. 54 traffic lanes through the interchange area during construction. Minor delays are possible. The entire project is scheduled for completion in mid-May.
• U.S. 54 between Missouri 5 and Key Largo Road - Roadside maintenance in the eastbound and westbound lane will take place Tuesday through Thursday, May 10. One eastbound and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Cooper County
• I-70 between mile markers 97 and 105 - Concrete repair in the eastbound lanes will take place Monday through Thursday. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.
• I-70 at mile marker 112 - Concrete repair in the westbound lanes will take place Wednesday. One westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Gasconade County
• U.S. 50 between Missouri 28 and Route T - Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Maries County
• Missouri 42 bridge over Mills Spring west of County Road 319 - Bridge replacement is under way. The bridge is closed to traffic through late May. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route around the construction. This project is part of the Safe & Sound Bridge Improvement Program.
• Route V bridge over Little Fly Creek south of Vienna - Bridge replacement is under way. The bridge is closed to traffic through late May. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route around the construction. This project is part of the Safe & Sound Bridge Improvement Program.
Miller County
• Route Z between Route W and Route Y - Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Tuesday through Thursday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Morgan County
• Missouri 135 between U.S. 50 and Missouri 52 - Roadway resurfacing is under way. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in late May.
• Route JJ between Missouri 135 and Route D - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday through Thursday. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
