Internet outage affects CenturyLink customers

Service is returning for at least some affected CenturyLink customers.
Reported Wednesday night:
CenturyLink customers in Mid-Missouri and parts of six states were without Internet and voicemail service Wednesday night after a widespread outage of unknown origin.
According to a company spokesman, reports of outages began around 7:30 p.m.
Prism video and television service was not affected, the spokesman said, although some customers reported problems.
The company expects to have service restored by early Thursday morning.
