According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol website, a Moniteau County man was picked up in Morgan County about 5:56 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1.
Picked up on warrants from Moniteau County was Travis R. Smith, 42, California. One charge lists three felony counts of forcible rape, statutory rape and sexual abuse dating to 1998 and one count of statutory rape dating to 1999. Bond was set at $50,000 on this charge.
An additional charge includes one count of statutory rape and one count of statutory sodomy, both dating to 2005. Bond was set at $20,000 on this charge.
The defendant posted bond on both charges and has been released.
