Speech team competes at Knob Noster

Each of the eight California High School Speech Team members received at least one medal at the Knob Noster Panther Invitational Speech Tournament Saturday.
Abi Fast placed second in original oratory and fifth in poetry.
Third place finishes included Dylan Ramey, national extemporaneous speaking and storytelling; Chelsea Kilmer, international extemporaneous speaking; Ellie Hamilton, poetry; and Caitlin Dummermuth and Alden Millering, impovisational due acting.
Thos placing fourth included Sydney Pearson, storytelling; Hamilton, international extemporaneous speaking; Haley McMillian and Pearson, imporvisational duet acting; Dummermuth, prose and radio; Pearson, dramatic interpretation; and Kilmer and McMillian, duet acting.
And McMillian also picked up fifth place in international extemporaneous speaking.
The team placed fourth in the overall sweepstakes.
