Emergency 911 Board approves insurance

Insurance approval was an important part of the business conducted at the regular monthly meeting of the Moniteau County 911 Emergency Dispatch Board Thursday, Dec. 12.

Insurance approved included MOPERM the 2014 commercial insurance package and the 2014 auto/liability package. The board also approved renewal of Anthem Blue Preferred Plus with prescription for 2014. There was an increase in cost of 10.9 percent.

In other business, the board approved IT (Information Technology) services from Huber Advantage at a monthly rate of $1,000.

According to the treasurer's report, sales tax received was $78,554.69; the MMDA account balance as of Dec. 10, was $327,178.32; and the balance of the CDs as of Nov. 30, was about $72,000.

Payroll on Nov. 20 was $8,357.71; Dec. 4, $9,177.73. Overall payroll taxes were $5,825.07. Total accounts payable approved at the meeting was $18,874.06.

According to Administrator Corey Sullivan, the Addressor completed replacement of all road signs which were down or missing by Nov. 26.

The next regular monthly meeting is Jan. 16.
