TSgt Craig Hall has completed his first year as a USAF Thunderbird. Tsgt Hall, his wife, Cyndi and daughter, Jaelea, are currently stationed at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV, home of the USAF Thunderbirds air demonstration team.  Hall joined this elite team of 120 in April of 2012 and says it truly is his dream job.

Hall's job is maintenance of the pilots' equipment as well as educating and outfitting celebrity flyers at each show.  He had a great first year traveling with the team all across    the United States.  He has had the opportunity of "fitting up," people like Eric Bass from the band Shinedown, Dave Rozema, a former pitcher for the Detroit Tigers and members of the Snowbirds (Canada's Air Demonstration Team) just to name a few.  The History Channel's popular hit TV show, 'American Restoration' filmed a show with the Thunderbirds which featured Hall "fitting up" Rick Dale for a flight with Thunderbird 7.

Due to the nature of his job and the media coverage of celebrity flyers, Hall has been featured on many local TV news casts and in newspaper articles across the country.  He enjoys meeting people and especially signing autographs and visiting with kids who attend the air shows.  "It's really fun to see the excitement on the kids' faces as they watch the team perform" says Hall.

Unfortunately, due to the sequestration all shows have been canceled for the 2013 season which marks the 60th anniversary of the Thunderbirds. The 2013 show schedule would have taken the team to Guam, Japan, Hawaii, China, as well as many shows state-side.

He appreciates his friends and family in California and surrounding

areas for their continued support while he is serving in the Air Force.

He has been deployed four times and each time has been amazed at the support he and his family have received from home.  His parents David and Lexi Hall, brother Brett Hall, wife Kendra and son Hunter and grandparents Norma Jean Martin and Emmette and Bettie Hall all reside in the California area.Â
