RUSSELLVILLE — Nearly a dozen high school students from Cole County R-I Schools attended the State Beta Convention recently.
More than 2,000 Missouri students and sponsors attended the two-day convention, where Silver Dollar City owner Peter Herschend spoke.
Superintendent Jerry Hobbs is chairman of the Missouri State Beta Council and a National Beta Club Council board member.
Others from Russellville who attended, include Kristi Dulany, Sadee Schraeder, Madison Boyer, MIkala Jungmeyer, sponsor Michelle Mills, sponsor Chris Hess, Kelsey Schrimpf, Joe Meili, Curtis Keller, Jon Fischer, Andrew Ford and Madie Bungart.
