The Moniteau County unit of the Missouri Retired Teachers Association met Tuesday, May 2, in the Activity room at the Moniteau County Learning and Vocational Center. Jane Blank, Support Coordination Supervisor, gave the program about the many services offered to developmentally disabled county residents by the SB40 Board. The group also toured the center which is located on Industrial Park Drive in California.
The business meeting followed the program. Reports were given on the success of the Region 7 MRTA meeting hosted by the Moniteau County unit, education related bills from the recently completed legislative session, and plans to raise money for the Buddy Pack program. The next meeting of the group will be in September. All retired school personnel are welcome to join the organization.
