Drug arrest made after meth allegedly found

A felony drug related charge was filed in Moniteau County Court on Sept. 4. against a person for whom no address was given.

According to court documents, officers conducted a consent search on or about Aug. 29 at a residence on South Oak Street, California. The officers allegedly found a substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Bruce E. Barker, 41, was charged with Class C Felony Possession of Controlled Substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana.If convicted on this charge, he could face up to seven years in prison and a $5,000 fine.

Bond has been set at $30,000.
