The High Point eighth-grade class hosted a dog wash fundraiser at Coats and Tails Grooming in California Saturday, to raise money for their eighth grade trip and spring banquet.
High Point math and social studies teacher Bruce Gibson, who is also the eighth-grade class sponsor, said the fundraiser went well. "I think all of the kids had a good time."
Coats and Tails owner Rita Percival added, "They all worked really hard."
Dog owner Lisa Bleich, California, brought her bulldog to the fundraiser. "This was his first time here at Coats and Tails. We came for the fundraiser and he needed a bath, so it was a win-win!"
Coats and Tails is located at 1001 S. Oak Street.
