How low can you go? Students enjoyed the Limbo at High Point R-III Sock Hop, Friday, April 4.

Friday, April 4, students in kindergarten through fourth grade, gathered in the High Point gymnasium for a good old traditional sock hop. The students formed lines to dance to different songs such as "YMCA, The Macarena and Space Jam." The students also enjoyed doing the Limbo, the Twist as well as other dances. Teachers and staff also enjoyed the sock hop as they twisted and danced with the students. Kindergartner Fliton Percival and second grader Emma Salchow were crowned the Limbo champs during the event.

Physical Education teacher Josh Wiltfong kept the music and students on track by playing many upbeat and fun songs. Superintendent Stan Elliott, teachers - Anita McDonald, Galen O'Donnell and Cathy Kliethermes supervised the children.
