The Figure 8 Scramble and Tuff Truck Challenge were, as they are every year, highly competitive at the 148th Moniteau County Fair. If injuries are counted, the most competitive of the events would have been the Powder Puff Figure 8 Scramble. One driver was taken to a medical center for evaluation, with the final word of a broken arm. Another was bruised and sore, but said she was all right otherwise.
The event winners were awarded trophies. Figure 8 Winners: 1st Place - Curtis Turpin, Jefferson City, Car 15; 2nd - Ed Verslues, Versailles, Car 6v; 3rd - Jason Giesing, California, Car 18.9; 4th - Nathan Dummermuth, California, Car 20.8.
