The California Middle School eighth grade girls basketball team participated in the Eldon Tournament last week, Jan. 21-25, where the Lady Pintos ultimately won the tourney championship after defeating Osage, Warsaw and Eldon.

Seventh grade Lady Pintos win Versailles Tourney

The California Middle School seventh grade girls basketball team came away from the Versailles Tournament last week with the championship, after defeating the host 51-13 Friday night.

Harmonium Brass coming to the Finke

After swapping the lead back and forth with Fatima in the first half of Saturday's championship game at the California 80th Annual Boys Basketball Tournament, the Pintos stepped up their game in the third quarter to change the pace and ultimately clench the title, the Pintos' first in 25 years at the California Tourney.
