Cook honored with birthday dinner

Brandon Cook was honored Sunday with a birthday dinner at the home of his parents Gail and Yvonne Cook. Attending were Bill and Judy Buerkey, Nelson and LaVerne Cook, Chad Cook, Joannie and Tucker Cook and Paige Shelton.

Lauren Holliday and Jeffrey Prenger were married at the Lebanon Baptist Church Saturday. L.P. Cook III was the celebrant. Lauren is the daughter of Jim and Kara Holliday and the granddaughter of Glen and Nancy Rohrbach. The wedding reception was held at the Wardsville Lions Club.

Get well wishes to Kent Riley Jr who was injured in a lawn mowing accident Saturday. Kent will be in the hospital until Tuesday and will have to stay off his foot for eight weeks.

Camryn Schlup played her first softball game with the Rockers Wednesday evening at the Daniel Boone Sports Complex in Columbia. They played a top ranked team, The Heat and lost 4-2 and 3-1.

Gary and Amanda Reichel were honored at a baby shower at the Herriman cabin at the Lake of the Ozarks Saturday. It was hosted by her aunts. Attending from this area were Linda Reichel, Julie and Camryn Schlup and Donna Milligan.
