The City of California residential clean-up week will be April 13-17. City crews will begin picking up trash curbside at 6 a.m. It will be helpful for collection to have items in boxes or trash bags.
Large item pickup, including appliances, furniture and trimmed brush up to four (4") inches in diameter should be placed curbside. Any old lumber or metal must be cut into four (4') foot lengths and tied into bundles for accessibility of the packer truck.
Items that cannot be picked up are leaves, grass clippings, yard waste, hazardous or flammable household liquids, unclean paint cans, automobile parts including tires and batteries, rocks, bricks or concrete.
The schedule for pickup of all included in curbside collection will be as follows.
• Monday, April 13 - north of Business 50.
• Tuesday, April 14 - south of Business 50.
• Wednesday, April 15 - no pickup.
• Thursday, April 16 - north of Business 50.
• Friday, April 17 - south of Business 50.
