JAMESTOWN - The seventh annual Walk/Run/Ride benefiting the L.Cpl. Leon B. Deraps Memorial Scholarship Fund will be held Saturday May 2 at 9 a.m. in Jamestown. It will begin at Advanced Chimney at 365 W. Row St., at the corner of U.S. Highway 179 and U.S. Highway 87, and it ends at Assumption Catholic Church at Cedron off of U.S. Route D.
Participants must park at Assumption Catholic Church and ride the shuttle to the starting point of the course for registration. The last
shuttle leaves at 8:45 a.m. Sign in will start at 8 a.m. Preregistration has ended, but participants can register the day of the event. The fee is $30, but T-shirts may not be available. A limited amount of previous year's shirts will also be available.
Shorter routes are available upon request and water stations will be located along the course. Concessions are available at Cedron
grounds following the event and $4 meal tickets can be pre-purchased at the registration table.
