KAISER - California took part in the School of the Osage Invitational held Tuesday, April 21, finishing with strong results on the girls and boys' side.
Josh Woodruff won the 110-meter hurdles, the 200-meter dash and was apart of the first-place 4x400-meter relay team with Drew Norton, Ethan Hodges and Dylan Norton. Also, Walker Borghardt finished in the top-three in both the long jump and triple jump.
For the girls, Audrey Pickering and Cameron Meyer continue to finish at the top of the shot put and discus events, and Ellie Wirts placed first in the 200-meter dash.

CENTRALIA - California coach Jon Lindquist took the junior varsity squad to the Centralia Open meet on Thursday, allowing some players to rest and allowing his younger athletes to get some experience against higher competition.
Wirts and Sommerer placed in the top-eight in four events, and the boys' 4x100-meter relay team had a strong showing.
