Massengill receives Missouri Veterinary Medical Association 2015 Volunteerism Award

Charles E. Massengill, DVM, California, was presented the MVMA's 2015 William A. Wolff Volunteerism Award for his many years of service to veterinary medicine in Missouri and his dedicated work with the Missouri Volunteer Veterinary Corps. The award was presented to Dr. Massengill by Bill Jones, DVM.

Dr. Massengill is presently with CRM Veterinary Consulting. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1979. He presently serves as director of the Missouri Volunteer Veterinary Corps. He is also a member of the Emergency Management & Public Health Committee and Missouri Stocker Feeder Quality Assurance Program.

The award is presented for outstanding commitment as it relates to service to animals and their owners in a time of crisis.

The Missouri Veterinary Medical Association is the society for veterinarians in the state, dedicated to maintaining the highest standards for professionalism and ethics in animal health care in Missouri. The association was founded to help the veterinarian better serve the welfare of animals and their owners.
