Russellville homecoming slated for Friday

The Russellville High Schol 2015 Homecoming Court includes: Adrianna Basnett,daughter of Jamie Basnett and Pam Basnett, who is escorted by Patrick Shirley, son of Mary Shirley and Keith Shirley; Justice Miller, daughter of Travis Edwards and Rebecca Miller, who is escorted by Coy Bond, son of Travis Bond and Kevin and Dana Bax; Chloe Ruble, daughter of Robert Ruble and Kellie Ruble, who is escorted by Levi Anderson, son of Doug Anderson and Rayma Anderson; Alexandria Schaefer, daughter of Dan Schaefer and Sheila Kauffman, who is escorted by Jamie Porter, son of Travis and Mona Porter; and Haley Windsor, daughter of Lee and DeAubra Windsor, who is escorted by Zach Voss, son of Doug and Brenda Voss.

Throughout the week, students have participated in activities related to the theme "Living in the USA."

Dress-up days included: Magical Monday, dress like a mythical or magical creature; Tacky Tourist Tuesday, fanny packs and Branson T-shirts; Wrinkly Wednesday, dress like an old person; Throwback Thursday, take a trip to the past; and Indian Friday, dress in blue and white.

For the third year, classes also will compete in Homecoming Olympics events, such as making class flags, shopping cart floats, a faculty and student basketball game and other games during an assembly.

The Homecoming dance will be 8-11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7.
