The annual Kiwanis and Boy Scout Pancake Breakfast was held Saturday, March 21, at the California Nutrition Center. Kiwanis members, Boy Scouts and volunteers served many people at the annual pancake and sausage breakfast fundraiser. The event this year featured Burgers' sausage as well as many different kinds of pancakes - traditional, blueberry, banana, chocolate chip and pancakes with combinations of the three ingredients.

Of the funds raised at the annual event, half goes to support Boy Scout Troop 120 and half goes towards Kiwanis supported children's causes, both local and global. The event is held in the spring of each year.

Kiwanis, the largest civic organization in the world, has clubs in 80 countries. Each year, the Kiwanis raises more than $100 million each year for their local communities and service projects.
