Jamestown 6, Fayette 4:

Jamestown's Emily Scheperie, a senior, hit a go-ahead RBI in the sixth inning to escape with a win against Fayette Sept. 1.

Scheperie recorded two RBI on the day and scored a run, and senior Melanie Perez and senior Jordan Oerly each had an RBI.

Fayette jumped out to a 3-0 lead after three innings, but the Lady Eagles sent eight batters to the plate in the fourth inning to take the 4-3 lead. After Fayette tied the game in the fifth, Jamestown scored two more runs in the sixth to regain the lead for good.

Freshman Alyssa Reynolds (2-1) earned the win, allowing four runs - three earned - on three hits while striking out five.

Jamestown 12, Prairie Home 0

Jamestown scored early and often in its five-inning win against Prairie Home on Sept. 3. The Lady Eagles scored six in the first inning, two in the second and four in the third.

Reynolds pitched all five innings, allowing no runs and just one hit, while striking out four. Reynolds also batted 1-for-2 from the plate with a double and two RBI.

The 3-4-5 batters in the lineup did most of the damage for the Lady Eagles, batting a combined 8-for-8 with four runs scored and six RBI.

Mackenzie Strother was 3-for-3 on the day, Darian Wolfe was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and three RBI and Alli Muri was 2-for-2 with a walk, three RBI and one run scored.
