Democrat photo/Garrett Fuller — The site of Russellville High School's classroom addition appears much different Thursday than it was just a month ago. Cole R-I Superintendent Jeff Jennewein presented a brief update on the Proposition K.I.D.S. project at the Thursday night Board of Education meeting, saying contractors would install reinforcing bars this week in preparation of pouring the footings. Another Proposition K.I.D.S. project — the elementary school playground — was a major concern at the meeting.
RUSSELLVILLE -- The Cole R-I Board of Education begrudgingly approved change orders to the elementary school playground following nearly an hour of discussion.
The changes -- which address unforeseen issues at the playground -- were among any items discussed by the board Thursday in the Russellville High School library.
