The asphalt overlay work in the City of California has been completed.
The milling machines were out early on Tuesday of last week to remove the old pavement where necessary. The asphalt laying machine did its work. That, in turn, was followed by the compaction rollers to leave a smooth pavement.
Streets that received an overlay were Ash Street, Orchard Street, Lake Streets, Linda Lane, Dale Lane, Sharon Lane, Latham Road, Dan Drive, Clara Drive, Mengel Avenue, Ryan Avenue, South East Terrace and South Randolph Street.
