The fourth- and fifth-grade California Kids presented the 2017 Talent Show May 2 at the high school.
Directed by Stacy Friedrich, the California Kids performed "ABC," "I'll Be There," "Beat It," "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' Medley," "Heal the World" and "Thriller."
In between the group performances, there were 10 solo performances, four two-person performances, one three-person performance and a fifth-grade honor choir performance.
Those were "Hall of Fame" by Myra Silvey, "Dancing Through the Fire" by Cody Bolfing, "When Will My Life Begin" by Camryn Wingate, "Amazing Grace" by Isabelle Allen and Bennett Gatlin, "I Don't Know My Name" Evy McGill and Madilyn Schmidt, "A Hymn & Petite Prelude" by Isabelle Rohrbach, "Card Trick" by Morgan Campbell; "Ju, Ju On The Beat/Whip Nae Nae Medley" by Courtney Potter, Kelsey Wadley and Emilee Weedon; "The Audition" by Erin Knoll, "You Can Close Your Eyes" by Evy McGill, "Soul Man" by Alexis Anguiano and Cody Bolfing, and "Lost Boy" by Kenzleigh Goans.
California Kids fourth graders for 2017 are Amberlie Traver, Bennett Gatlin, Brooklyn Moad, Cameron Gunnerson, Dominick Turco, Elia Torres, Ellye Messerli, Haylee Kiesling, Isabelle Allen, Kenzleigh Goans, Kya Peck, Lilly Frazier, Lucas Bleich, Maggie Brown, Reagan Cain, Rebekah Inglish, Sonya Grotjan and Talon Kirk.
Fifth grade performers are Alexis Anguiano, Allison Marsh, Ayden Bryant, Brayden Fields, Camryn Wingate, Cody Bolfing, Courtney Potter, DeLayna Bell, Dillon Wood, Emilee Weedon, Erin Knoll, Ethan Jacques, Evy McGill, Haley Winkler, Hannah Mahan, Isabelle Rohrbach, Jordyn Hagenhoff, Kelsey Wadley, Kristian Tucker, Lilianna Moro-Donnell, Macie Trimble, Madilyn Schmidt, Madysen Brown, Morgan Campbell, Myra Silvey, Natalie Asmus, Olivia Mills, Paige Morris, Piper Oppermann and Trinity Mosier.
