The death from natural causes of Harold Bentley, 70, an inmate at the Tipton Correctional Center, was reported Sept. 5.
According to the reports, Bentley was received by the Missouri Department of Corrections on March 1, 1994, and was serving a 30-year sentence for rape, sodomy, and two counts of armed criminal action from Jackson County.
