A home in western Cole County was heavily damaged by a fire Tuesday afternoon.
Regional West Fire Protection District firefighters were dispatched around 1:30 p.m. to the home in the 8300 block of Kings Chapel Road.
Smoke could be seen for several miles, and fire was coming from the roof by the time firefighters arrived.
Water had to be brought in by pump trucks as the below-freezing temperatures some water lines were frozen.
All residents were able to exit the home.
There was no word on what started the fire.
