California Masonic Lodge No. 183 A.F.&A.M. continues to work on its exterior building improvements. The work has proceeded for several months, following the lodge taking out a N.A.P. loan with California Progress Inc. for facade improvements. That specific facade work is completed, and the N.A.P. loan is being repaid.

The front, designed by architect Daniel Karlov, is still a work in progress. When completed, the front is expected to resemble King Solomon's Temple, with bronze-colored columns and a Masonic square and compass emblem.

The lodge has been renovating its hall for several years, working on the interior and exterior to improve the appearance and strengthening the structure. David Bledsoe is the the Lodge's Grand Worshipful Master.
