Two vehicle stops led to two drug arrests last week in Moniteau County.Both incidents occurred Thursday in California, according to Moniteau County Sheriff's Department reports.
In one incident, deputies stopped a vehicle driven by LaMondt Zarn, 56, of California, and found he had a suspended driver's license. A search of the vehicle turned up methamphetamine. Zarn was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
The other incident occurred when Jason Williams, 43, of Syracuse, was stopped for not having license plates on his vehicle. K-9 Mizzou was called to search the vehicle and found methamphetamine.
Williams was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
