Free breakfast in Russellville for FFA supporters

During FFA week, Russellville chapter will pause festivities to thank the community with a free breakfast.

"It's just like an appreciation breakfast for the community for supporting us," advisor Nathan Strobel said.

The feast is set for 6-8:30 a.m. Feb. 21 at the high school agriculture shop.

Breakfast favorites including pancakes, biscuits with gravy, bacon, eggs and sausage will be served. A beverage selection of orange juice, milk and coffee is planned.

Strobel said half the members who participate in FFA week will be able to attend the 58th Annual Western Farm Show in Kansas City Feb. 22. More than 300 exhibitors are expected to fill the American Royal Complex.

"It's the industry's latest machines and technology," Strobel said. "It's just a good time to see anything that has to do with agriculture."
