Moniteau County Emergency 911 Board meets, administrator resigns

Immediately upon convening for its regular monthly meeting on Monday, April 11, the Moniteau County 911 Emergency Dispatch Board of Directors went into closed session to discuss employee issues.

Board members present were Larry Laird, Shirley Hayes, Mike Volkart, Allen Smith and Scott Harkins.

After 34 minutes, the Board entered open session. Board President Laird announced that the resignation of Administrator Karen Garrison had been unanimously accepted and was effective immediately. Garrison took over the position on Jan.1. Laird also announced the Board's unanimous vote to ask Corey Sullivan to be interim administrator. After Sullivan was contacted and requested to appear at the meeting, the Board continued with regular business.
