It all started with a complaint. Phil Lewis, a college sophomore music major at Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO), Cape Girardeau, was in the lounge in the music building complaining he could not find anyone interesting to date. Another music major, this one female, knew "just the girl," and arranged a blind date at Martha Washington's, an ice cream shop at the edge of the campus.
