The first non-musical play in many years, "The Nerd," is performed at the Finke Theatre with performers, from left, Axle Hammond (Dennis Donley), Thor Waldgrave (Luke Freeman), Clelia Waldgrave (Ramona Hader), Rick Steadman "The Nerd" (Nathaniel Donley), Warnock Waldgrave (Roy Barnard), Tansey McGinnis (Becca Barnard) and Willum Cubbert (Jason Gatlin). The play was directed by Audie Cline.
Performances of "The Nerd" were held Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20 at the historic Finke Theatre.
The first non-musical performances at the old theater in decades featured local community players under the direction of Audie Cline, a former California High School teacher.
