Superintendent Says Proposition 2 Needed to Keep High Point School Open

At first, High Point R-III Superintendent Toni Westbrooks said it was about fixing the roof. The roof had served the school for 30 years but is too damaged to be patched up and needs to be replaced. But then because of the economy, Westbrooks said the State of Missouri pulled a major amount from the funds given to the High Point School which has left a significant funding gap which the school needs to operate.
