Brothers Jason and Jim Morris began Moose Bros. BBQ and Catering as a barbecue competition cooking team in 2007. To help support their trips and supplies for the competitions they began catering on the side.

"But we got so busy catering we could not do the competitions anymore," Jason said. "We catered for over two years then our current location in Russellville, at 13211 Railroad Avenue, became available to own so we decided to start a restaurant. We opened June 10, 2010."

Since opening they said things have gone great. Moose Bros. BBQ and Catering offers a full barbecue line including brisket, ribs, chicken and pulled pork. They also offer unique menu items they have created as well as burgers, tenderloins and wings along with daily specials. Jason said customers should expect good food and great service when they come in.
