Tr-M Music members inducted

All District Choir members from California High School are, front row from left, Kassi Meisenheimer, Bailey Glenn, Alex Pace, Taylor Bleich; and back row, Jeremy Jungmeyer, Jordan Brizendine, Tyler Silvey and Grant Burger. All of the CHS juniors and seniors selected to audition at Odessa for the All-District choir were successful. The choir will meet at Smith Cotton in Sedalia in October to perform will the whole choir.

The induction ceremony for Tri-M Music Honor Society, Chapter 4890, California High School, was Sunday, Sept. 18, at the CHS auditorium.

Installed as officers for the year were: Lacey Thompson, president; Ellie Hamilton, vice president; Kirstyn Roush, secretary; and Brooke Holliday, treasurer. Members were inducted with presentation of pins and patches. The seniors were presented with chords.

Following the ceremony, the Sounds of Joy men performed "My Girl."
