Work continued last week at Proctor Park on beautification of the grounds. At the recommendation of a Missouri Department of Conservation forester, 16 or 17 trees were cut. According to Park Supervisor Robert Pace, most of the trees cut had been killed or heavily damaged by the ice storm two years ago. Most of the trees cut were black locust and mulberry.
