Filing for the school board election closes Tuesday, Jan. 17, at 5 p.m.
The California School Board election will be a contested race with at least five running for two seats.
Incumbent Paul Bloch, and hopeful candidates Rhonda Meyer, Jason Nelson, Marty Ramsdell and Jay VanDieren are vying for the two seats up for election.
The other school board seat up for election this year is held by Kathy Goans, who decided not to run.
