Children from churches in Cole and Moniteau counties who make up the Concord Baptist Association spent the week learning about running the race for God at "Y R U Running" the Children's Camp held at Main Street Baptist Church, California.

The camp had an attendance of 28 children. Ryan Ebersold, pastor at Maranatha Baptist Church, Chamois, was the camp pastor, with Heather Borghardt leading worship.

Activities included Bible study, evangelism training, rehearsing music, performing at local nursing homes, swimming, devotions, games, skyping with those organizing missions during the Summer Olympics being held in London, and a segment called God's World where the children learned about different things God has done or is doing in the world.

There were plenty of goodies to be had throughout the week for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack times. The camp ran from Monday, June 25, to Thursday, June 28.
