The Moniteau Saddle Club celebrated its 10th anniversary via an appreciation supper Saturday at Centennial Hall (Moniteau County Fairgrounds), California, where a total of 55 were in attendance.
The evening started off with a social hour, followed by a meeting in which the following were elected as new officers: Gina Kuda, president; Carolyn Stenquist, vice president; Phyllis Hemeyer, treasurer; and Carolyn Twardowski, secretary.
Out-going president Kevin Messerli was presented a pocket watch as a gift.
Board members elected for a three-year term were Clif Strickland and John Rissler. Elected for a two-year term were Tricia Hifley and Melinda Burgoon, and elected for a one-year term was Rick Bowles.
After a meal that included ham, turkey and cheesy potatoes, among other dishes, games were played and music for dancing was provided by the Saddle Bronc Girls.
A food drive also took place at the event, in which a total of $110 was donated along with food to benefit the Californai Methodist Chuch Food Bank.
