Hodges new Moniteau County Conservation Agent

March 27th, 2013 in News

Greetings Moniteau County! My name is Nathaniel Hodges, and as of March 1, I am your new Conservation Agent.  I would like to take some space here to introduce myself more thoroughly to those who may not know me.

Originally from this general area, I grew up in southern Cooper County on a farm, north of Clarksburg. I grew up hunting, fishing, and spending much of my extra time outdoors.

I went to High School in California, and afterwards I attended the University of Mo-Columbia where I graduated with a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Management in 2005.  After graduation, I worked temporary full-time with the Missouri Department of Conservation in several different positions.  I was hired full time with the Department in 2008.  In 2009, I was accepted as a Conservation Agent Trainee.  After graduation from the Academy, I was assigned to Sullivan County in North Central Missouri, where I have spent the last 3+ years as a game warden.

I am excited to be back in the area and look forward to again being a part of the local community.  I would like to encourage anyone who has questions or concerns about Missouri's forests, fish, or wildlife to call me at 573-864-9814.
