Amy Phillips is a new first grade teacher at California Elementary for the 2013-14 school year. She is a 2011 graduate of William Woods University, Fulton, with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementry Education.
This is Phillip's third year of teaching. She taught kindergarten at Middle Grove C-I, Madison, for two years.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Phillips, a CHS graduate, said, "I am looking forward to teaching in my hometown."
