The Pintos (4-0) will host Southern Boone for Homecoming at 7 p.m. Friday.

"Southern Boone runs a little different offense," Albertson said. "We'll have to be patient with them defensively and make our tackles. I think we'll be fine."

Homecoming festivities will kick off with the parade in downtown California at 2 p.m. Friday. (Line-up will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the city pool.) The pep assembly will follow at Riley Field. The coronation will be held at approximately 6:30 p.m. at Riley Field, prior to kickoff. The CHS Student Council will host the Homecoming Dance 7-10 p.m. Saturday at the high school commons.

The Parade of Champions will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Riley Field, while the Central Bank Tailgate Party will begin at 5 p.m. Free t-shirts, hot dogs, chips and soda will be distributed. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to cheer on the football players and to receive one of the 950 specially designed t-shirts for this year's tailgate extravaganza.
