High Point R-III PTO hosted a Family Fun Night at the school, Saturday, April 5, from 5-9 p.m. The evening began with a spaghetti dinner served in the school cafeteria. The main entree was spaghetti, however, they served shredded chicken sandwiches as well. You could also have salad a beverage and dessert. The cooks prepared enough spaghetti for 200 people. High Point parents donated homemade desserts that were very popular at the dinner. Many locals came to support the PTO and eighth grade class.

The PTO recruited the eighth grade students to assist with the dinner and in return they gave them half the proceeds for their class trip.

The Archery club also got in on the action. They held a bow shoot in the gym with nine participants. When the scores were tallied the winner, Rick Percival, was announced. A good time was had by all participants in the competition.

To conclude the evening the kindergarten through fourth grade students were divided into a blue and a white team. They played mat ball, an indoor version of kick ball, for those in attendance.

The PTO also held a drawing giving away a New England Shot Gun, four Cargill turkeys, two home-made baby quilts, a kindle fire, as well as, a 47" television.

The PTO and eighth graders appreciated everyone who supported their efforts.
